4:00-7:30pm
Primary aged children and their families are invited to an evening
of fun. Come in FANCY DRESS
(no Halloween or scary costumes pelase) and enjoy the CARNIVAL
side shows with prizes, competitions, craft, face painting and soccer
fun; THE SHOW including
costume parade, prize giving, stories, and special guest speaker
Kim Beale from Soccerplusnz; and a great SNACK
PACK.
Children $3 and
includes a sausage, ice cream, and candy floss
Adults Free and includes
coffee, tea and a scone. Ice cream and sausages $1 each.
The Carnival
Each child will receive a Carnival Card on entry.
This card hangs around their neck and records the activities they
do during the Carnival.
> Some Carnival side shows give out instant prizes
> Some Carnival Side Shows give a reward stamp. 5 reward stamps
earn a reward. Rewards can be chosen at the Rewards Counter and
are things like stickers, balls, and other small toys. There is
a maximum of 4 rewards per child.
> Some Carnival side shows like the 'Guess Umm! Jelly Beans'
will have their prizes awarded at the conclusion of the Carnival,
during The Show.
The Carnival card also records when the child has received their
ice cream, sausage, and candy floss.
The Carnival runs from 4:00-6:30pm.
The Show
The Show is held in the Auditorium from 6:30-7:30pm. The costume
parade is held and prizes given out. There will be an interactive
story and Kim Beale from Soccerplusnz will speak about "otherness".
And a few other things will help round off the evening.
Spot Prizes are awarded and use the individual number printed on
the children's Carnival Cards.
The Snack Packs are handed out at the end of The
Show, for the children to take home.
