You Are Unique & God Loves You

There's no one in the whole world just like you! Long before you were born God planned how you would be. God made you unique and special, so you are very precious to Him. God loves and cares for you very much. And God made you so that you could know Him and love Him back. God wants you to know and love His son Jesus too. Jesus can be your very best friend, and be with you always. He will lead and teach and help you have a life that will please God. Then you can be with God and Jesus in paradise forever.

"God loved the world so much that He gave His only Son, so that whoever believes in Him, will have eternal life and never really die." John 3:16

Having a Relationship with God

YOU NEED TO KNOW THAT ...

• God loves you very much, and He wants to be your friend forever.
• Only people who have never done wrong things (sins) can be God’s friend.
• God knows that it is impossible for you to never do anything wrong.
• Because God loves you so much, and wants to be your friend so much, He made a way that would enable Him to cancel all your sins, so that you can be with Him.
• God asked His Son Jesus if He would take the punishment that you should have, for doing all those wrong things, so that He doesn’t have to punish you.
• Jesus said He would, and He died on the cross for you.

ALL GOD ASKS YOU TO DO IS:

1) Tell Him that you are sorry for the wrong things you have done, and ask Him to forgive you.
2) Ask Him to be your Leader, Helper and Friend.
3) Thank Him for doing this for you.

If you do this, then God will forgive you, and completely forget about all those wrong things you have done. And God will come and live with you now, as your Leader, Helper and Friend. God will help you to live in a way that pleases Him.

God promises that you will live with Him, even when you die. You will live with Him in heaven, forever.

ONCE YOU HAVE DONE THIS, YOU ARE A CHRISTIAN.

To help you grow in your relationship with God you can read the Bible (there are many available for different ages), talk to God (this is called praying), and meet with other Christians.

Most Christians will go to Church, usually on a Sunday, and most churches have a programme especially for children. There you will learn more about God and Jesus and have fun and meet other Christians who can help you and encourage you.
