Auditorium
Padded
bench seats with backs are laid out permanently, focussed on
the stage area. There is seating for over 400 people, with additional
seating available if required, by opening up the rear doors
into the Cafe, and putting out additional chairs in this area.

Features:

To
provide natural lighting and ventilation there are full length
windows at the left of the stage (east side), and high windows
at the right of the stage (south side), with curtaining for
blackout or night time use.

Permanent
underseat heating, along with portable gas heaters, if required.

The
Meeting Room/Prayer Room has a viewing window into the Auditorium
and is linked to the sound system, which is useful for young
or unsettled children (this needs to be booked separately).
Stage
The
stage area is set in a corner, with a curved front. The dimenisions
are 5.3m along the back edge, 6m along the sides, with 12.5m across
the curved front. Part of the stage area is removeable, for
an orchestra pit or the like.
Changing
Rooms are available near the stage, off the back passage (these
need to be booked separately if required).
At
the rear of the stage area is a Baptismal Pool, which you are welcome
to use for Baptisms, however as special arrangements are required,
please discuss this with us when you make your booking.
Sound
& Lighting
The
auditorium is fully equiped for sound. It has high quality
front of house speakers and fold back system. This is all
controlled by a Sound Desk, located at the side-back of the auditorium.
We
have adaquate floodlighting for a single person speaker or performer,
and the ability to add additional lights (which you would supply).
House
lights and the ambiance can also be controlled from the Sound Desk.
Data
Projection
A
ceiling mounted Data and Video projector, controlled at the Sound
Desk, provides high quality visuals on the screen located in the
Centre of the stage.
The
computer is set up to run your PowerPoint presentation (please bring
your presentation on a Memory Stick, saved in PowerPoint 2003 version),
and your own laptop can be added, as required.
DVD
clips can be played from the DVD player linked into this system.
The
screen can be raised out of view (which will reveal the wooden cross
mounted behind it).
Inside
& Outside Foyers
The
Auditorium is serviced by Inside and Outside Foyers, making traffic
flows and crowd control easy. Toilets are located nearby.
